Preparing and training for times of crisis
My team isn't performing as it should
Most, if not every, team can develop and improve. Areas of improvement may sometimes be obvious and sometimes a bit more vague. To ensure that the remedies are sustainable (as in of durable over time) and relevant to your organization we will work together with you and your team and make sure that all aspects of the team is optimized. To quote Karl Weick: "the solution is usually already somewhere in the organization...". Through work in close cooperation with your team, we'll help you find the solutions that works best for you.
In times of crisis an organization and it's employees usually become strained and stressed. The scenario that actually happened maybe wasn't planned for or perhaps couldn't even be imagined at the planning phase. The plan made probably didn't work. But by spending time with us identifiying potentially critical situations, implementing a methodology that can incorporate the expected as well as the not expected situations and finally training and practicing, this will make the big difference when crisis strikes next time.
Leadership development
Many people talk about "good leadership". Many theories exist about how a "good leader" should act and behave. But sometimes it isn't easy to have inspiring visions and lead as a role model. Sometimes it can also be much more effective to learn to avoid what researchers define as "destructive leadership". Avoiding being passive as a manager and becoming active. Showing empathy by having the confrontation instead of letting things pass. Avoiding giving vague guidence when your team needs clear and precise orders. No matter what your situation is, we are here to help you rise to the occasion.
