No matter if you are learning math or trying to come to new insights about yourself, one thing we believe is common: The learning will be happening as a more or less complex process. We believe that there are a few components that will make the process more robust, such as active experimentation, reflection, feedback and challange, but the composition will vary depending on the participants and the objective.
We will provide and facilitate the learning process we deem most suitable for the scope at hand. But the process will also need one more important thing - the input. The input which will be proporational to the output - i.e. what you will get out of it.
Working with us will require things for you as a learner to bring to this process to enable a good outcome: engagement, commitment, honesty and respect towards others. If you are willing to put that into the process, we'll give everything we got to get a successful result from it!
If this doesn't sound like something you are motivated to invest for learning or practicing something, then we are likely not the best match for you.
Three things that we humans need to develop new skills, accommodate new knowledge or adapt new behavior are: time, practice and feedback/reflection. No matter in what format you train or develop with us, all formats will have one thing in common. It will have a preparation phase, an execution phase and a follow-up phase.
The preparation phase will be aimed at setting the context, defining the objectives and getting some basics in place. A metaphoric way to describe it if knowledge and skills are clothing - then this phase is the hook we mount on the wall to hang the clothing on. In this phase you will also be able to reflect on your own experiences and most importantly - what you want out it!
The execution phase is where we work together and continue onwards on the journey. We put a lot of focus on action-based and experential learning where you as a learner is actively involved and as mentioned in the previous section, your engagement here will be proportional to what you get out of it.
The follow-up phase will follow a few weeks or months after the exectution with the purpose of reflecting on what you have learnt and hopefully also tested in real life. This phase will of course also have the positive side-effect of repeating things which helps with knowledge retention. We normally conduct this as one or two coaching calls to each individual.
